Joe Lara hero dies "Tarzan" In a plane crash

American actor Joe Lara, best known for playing Tarzan in Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, has died in a plane crash at the age of 58.

Joe Lara was on a small plane with his wife, Gwen Champlain and five others, and the plane crashed into a lake near the town of Smyrna, Tennessee.

“Our efforts have shifted from rescue efforts to recovery efforts, and we are no longer looking for living victims at this point,” said Capt. Joshua Sanders, a rescue officer for Rutherford County, during a news conference.

Joe Lara is an American actor and songwriter born in 1962, best known for his portrayals of “Tarzan” in “Tarzan in Manhattan” in 1989 and “Tarzan: Epic Adventures” from 1996 to 1997.
