The month of June is also seen as a month that promotes freedom, thanks to the celebration of the proclamation of the eradication of slavery in the United States, which takes place on the 19th, and within that, the duo Chloe x Halle released, exclusively through the streaming service Apple Music, a cover of the success “Waterfalls”, from the group TLC.
“Waterfalls” it was originally released in 1995 by the then TLC trio and has become a timeless hit, replicated by many to this day.
“This song speaks volumes for who we are as artists and human beings. We always say music is therapy for us because the lyrics are healing. There’s something about singing those words to yourself – it turns into an encouraging mantra that makes you feel inspired after you hear it,” explains the sister duo to Apple Music.
Chloe x Halle’s version of “Waterfalls” is part of the collection “Freedom Songs” Apple’s streaming service, which will bring new songs and versions of classics throughout this month of June.

Chloe releases another snippet of unreleased music
The year 2020, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, was one of great success and acclaim for the duo Chloe x Halle, who released the record “Ungodly Hour” and delivered to fans several iconic performances and online lives to promote the work.
But this era, while successful, seems to be passing the baton to the next, as the sister duo are in the studio working on new songs.
And this Monday (26), Chloe showed an excerpt of an unreleased song, which is being produced by her in her home studio. In the video, the singer appears incorporating the beats in the track, which already features vocals and other elements.

It’s worth remembering that, even though it’s already at the end of its era, the album “Ungodly Hour” won a new version this year of 2021, the “Chrome Edition”, with some unreleased tracks and a music video for the title track of the project.
