The cast for the “Sex and the City” reboot is taking shape. As HBO Max has now announced, four more popular characters are returning.
Not only US actor Chris Noth (66) returns as Mr. Big in the “Sex and the City” reboot called “And just like that …”. Now the streaming service HBO Max announcedthat four more series favorites for the new edition are going to the side of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker, 56) and Co. through the streets of New York.
Reunion with Stanford, Anthony, Steve and Harry
Willie Garson, 57, returns as Stanford Blatch, Carrie Bradshaw’s best friend. Mario Cantone (61) takes on the role of wedding planner Anthony Marantino again. David Eigenberg (57) can be seen again as Miranda’s (Cynthia Nixon, 55) husband, Steve Brady. And Evan Handler (60) performs Harry Goldenblatt, Charlotte’s husband (Kristin Davis, 56).
“And Just Like That …” is based on the book “Sex and the City” by Candace Bushnell (62) and the original TV series created by Darren Star (59). “The series will accompany Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte on their way from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” reads the content of the new episodes. Kim Cattrall (64) will not return in her role as Samantha Jones.
The reboot is expected to start in 2022.
