‘Spider-Man 4’: Scene from canceled movie with Tobey Maguire brings hero fighting Vulture

While Marvel fans wait for the trailer for ‘Spider-Man: No Home to Return‘, the fourth movie discarded with Tobey Maguire gained news.

the animator David E. Duncan released an official video of the film, which features Spider-Man from Tobey Maguire fighting the vulture.

“An animated scene I produced for Sam Raimi’s 4th Spider-Man that got canceled. Fights with the studio, creative differences and negative reactions on the internet for hiring John Malkovich as the Vulture caused the film to be canceled in December 2009, at the beginning of pre-production”, he said.

According to Giant Freakin Robot, a Sony is really considering a 4th movie of the ‘Spider man’ from Tobey Maguire, and still want the director’s return Sam Raimi in the direction.

The first film directed by Sam Raimi arrived in theaters in the United States exactly 19 years ago, on the day May 3, 2002, and took the term blockbuster to the next level by raising $821 million.

According to the website, the studio got excited after Maguire to come back for a small participation in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ – setting up a new professional meeting with Raimi since 2007, when they did ‘Spider-Man 3‘.

the reunion between Raimi e Maguire would be lighting the flames for the sequel to the original Webhead trilogy.

If it really happens, the plot of ‘Spider-Man 4‘ will start after the events unfold from ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ e ‘Doctor Strange 2’.

So far, none of this has been confirmed by the studios, and Raimi and Maguire nor did they comment on the novelty.

If true, this would be a great way to conclude the story of the original Peter Parker after so many criticisms of the 3rd film, considered one of the worst comic book adaptations for the cinema.

For those who don’t know, ‘Spider-Man 4‘ even won a debut forecast for 2011 and would bring Mysterio, Vulture and the Black Cat to the gallery of villains.

A few years ago, some conceptual arts were leaked on the internet, but the veracity of the images is unknown.
