Photo: Spotify_________________ Lusa Sonza keeps winning! Since the release of the album “Sweet 22” on Sunday, the performance of the tracks on Spotify has continued to grow. On Monday, all the songs entered the top 70. On Tuesday, they all rose in position, including two in the top 10. Now, this Wednesday (21st) there was a song in particular that caught attention! The song “cliff” reached 3rd place in the most listened to chart on Spotify Brazil, accumulating 703,602 streams in the last 24 hours, behind the songs of Joo Gomes. This is an emotional ballad and is drawing attention organically, as it hasn’t even been chosen to be a single yet. The ones that won a clip were “better alone :-)-:” and “VIP *-*“. Photo: Spotify The singer herself admitted that she wrote the track while on a plane trip after she had split up with comedian Whindersson Nunes. So, the lyrics are very personal and emotional. The feeling of being pushed off a cliff, trying to grab someone’s hand and failing. “I started writing this one on my way back from a trip to Mexico. This is a song of relief! There’s a lot of feeling in it. I feel like I was only able to put an end to this period of my life after every word said in that song,” she said. Lyrics: “cliff” I knew the fall was big
But I had to jump
I wish we were taller When I held your hand
you let go of mine
And still pushed me off the cliff And tell you I love you
now weirder
Strange to see you far away
They put our love on a shelf I had to unlearn
to like you so much
Why does c do like this?
You don’t talk about me like that And I know you cry
Don’t pretend you haven’t lived our whole story
My God, I asked so much for me not to leave
But I have to go my way now And I know I cry
Don’t pretend you haven’t lived our whole story
My God, I asked so much not to leave
But I have to go my way now C knows well who I am
You know if you call, I will
C knows who I am
You know if you call me I’ll go And I don’t feel angry
I don’t feel anything
beyond what you already know
Worse than c you know well, honey
How hard I’ve tried And I don’t feel angry
I don’t feel anything
beyond what you already know
Worse than you know well, baby
As hard as I tried I had to unlearn
to like you so much
Why does c do like this?
You don’t talk about me like that And I know you cry
But I have to go my way now
And I know you cry
Don’t pretend you haven’t lived our whole story
My God, I asked so much not to leave
But I have to go my way now C knows well who I am
You know if you call, I will
C knows who I am
You know if you call me, I will
